A nice addition to the visual aesthetic on the Old Tokaido Highway (also known as “former Sanjo Avenue”) that runs through Yamashina, passing by this restaurant and, as it so happens, my apartment building. The route has connected Kyoto with Eastern Japan, including modern-day Tokyo, for over a thousand years. Kind of mind-blowing when I think about it in that context.
この店は、山科を通る旧東海道（別名「旧三条通」）の美観にええアクセントを加えている。この街道は1000年以上にわたって京都と東日本（現在の東京を含む）を繋いでいる。そう考えると、感動するわ。
