Yasaka Pagoda is among Kyoto’s many heavily photographed sights. Rather than reproduce something that’s already all over Instagram, I’d rather try to do something different, even if not completely original. It’s very hard to do anything unique with photography in a tourist magnet like Kyoto. But I try! And a rare snowy day is a good time to do that.
八坂の塔が写っている写真は世界に何枚あるかな。想像できない数やろ。どうやったらみんなと違う写真を撮れる？無理かも。でも京都で雪が珍しく降って、町がいつもと違う姿に変身したら、ユニークじゃなくても自分にとって新しい発見があるかも。
