Japan, a country of around 125 million people, has all sorts of transportation: regular commuter trains, bullet trains, airplanes, expressways, ferries, and of course monorails. While enjoying a traffic jam in a stadium parking lot with too few exits as every driver tried to leave at the same time, I took advantage of my unexpected free time to snap some shots of this monorail passing by the Ferris wheel at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park. Which reminds me: the World Expo is coming back to Osaka in 2025. I wonder what effect that will have on traffic…
車の中で渋滞が解消するのを待っていると、大阪モノレールが万博公園の観覧車の前を横切った。「モノレールは遅いな」と思った。でも渋滞で止まっている車より速い。
