Japan’s cities are known for their congested roads. (Actually, that’s probably true for most cities around the world.) A tourist hotspot like Kyoto is certainly no exception. But that all changes at night. International tourists have long bemoaned Japan’s relatively small nighttime economy, but for taking photos like this, the dead streets are a blessing. If I tried parking here near Kogetsu Bridge during the day, you can bet the police would be on me in an instant!
京都市で運転したことある?東京や大阪ぐらい大きくないのに、道路はめっちゃ混むで!でも夜は違う。幸いに、京都のナイトエコノミーはまだまだ発展してへん。だから嵐山の渡月橋という昼に激混む場所で路上駐車して、ゆっくり長時間露光できんねん。
